Show-Me Convention

Today we did the long ass drive to Davenport, IA from Kansas City so we could drop the 3 kids off with my mom and head down to the Show-Me Convention in the Ozarks.   All in all, this made the trip to the Ozarks, which are about 3 hours away, a long 12 hour drive. 

I will say the portion of the drive after we dropped the kids off seemed to go by much faster.   I think some of this may have been the fact that I dozed for part of it, but more importantly, we had in-car entertainment in the form of Girlvana 3 being played on the laptop.   Its amazing how much a little girl-porn can do to make a trip go eaisier.

We ended up getting to the hotel fairly late, and found that we did not get the beach side of the hotel as we had requested, but another couple we knew did.  We figure the week with the ocean-view room at Swingfest was enough, and as they had limited availibility, chose not to make an issue of it.    After all, the staff at this resort is great. Last time we were here, the bartenders were dancing through the crowd with the drinks and shaking thier asses as much as anyone else. It was great!  We arrived too late to do too much, but we went and wandered around the party downstairs for a little bit, trying to see who we knew that was already there. We did not see nearly as many familiar faces as we expected.

Shortly after, we headed back upstairs to fuck each others brains out before crashing for the night.
