Returning Home.

We woke up this morning, finished packing everything back up and headed out to the airport.   When we got there, we had to pay the lady at the check in desk $30 simply for checking baggage.    While I knew one of the bags was overweight, she asked for the $30 before even weighing them.    When asked why I had to pay her for bags she had not weighed yet, she told me it was standard policy.

Anyway, I think I pissed her off or something because for the first time in my life (which has involved a LOT of air travel) when we got to the security checkpoint, the TSO offier looked at our tickets and had us step aside for the more through search of our stuff, and a pat-down..  Now, normally this would probably have aggrivated me more, but given that we had plenty of time, and had jsut come from SwingFest, I found it funny.    It made me wish we had put more of our free swag from swingfest in our carry-on!

The guy patted me down, during which I somehow managed to refrain from messing with him and saying I enjoyed it, or even telling him where we just came from.    I was, however, wearing the Swingercast shirt at this point though.    Ally's patdown was probably more through then it needed to be.  The female officer there checked her bra clasp about 5 times, and rubbed down her legs to the point where Ally had to say to the officer that if she kept doing it, she was going to see more then intended.  At this point the guard looked up and stopped.

When going through our stuff, she was looking at some of the stuff we had and we could see she was trying very hard not to giggle at some of it.   There was a small penguin stuffed animal in there, and she turned it over and wiped a cloth along its bottom, testing for something or other.    As she did this, I could not help but jokingly say to Ally, 'Well after that, I am sure Gwynn has a molestation case of some sort there.'.   At this, it was funny because the officer stopped what she was doing and looked down for a second, the strain to stop from laughing fairly obvious before she started stuffing stuff back in the bag and handing it to us.    All in all, we had fun with it.

Anyway...  Here it is late Monday night and we are back home to the kids.   Time to take grandparents to the airport, unpack, wash clothes, take the kids out for a day, repack, and get ready for the 500 mile drive to the next swinger convention Wednesday morning!

We are starting to need a break..
